This section is optional. If you have some strong references and you want to include them or it’s a recruiter’s requirement then fine you can include otherwise there is no need to include them. I will advise you, get some recommendations on your LinkedIn profile from your current and previous managers or senior executives and develop your digital presence instead of using important space of your CV. LinkedIn recommendations can also work as a strong reference too.
